South Sudan Human rights Defenders Network works to protect, defend and promote human rights in South Sudan.

Protection and Emergency response

SSHRDN works to provide rapid and emergency response support to HRDs within its membership. We also enable embattled HRDs to access legal, medical and psychosocial services. The overall objective of the program is to improve the protection, safety and security of HRDs at an Individual and organizational level.

Research and Advocacy

SSHRDN conducts periodic research and uses the findings to carry evidenced based advocacy on the situation of Human Rights Defenders in South Sudan
