Twenty-five human rights defenders participated in an art therapy clinic organized by SSHRDN. The training equipped participants with skills to use artistic therapy as a medium for emotional expression and trauma support.
SSHRDN in partnership with Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS) conducted a training on Protection Mainstreaming. The workshop equipped journalists and HRDs with protection mechanisms, supported by Nonviolent Peaceforce.
As part of the Youth Cluster launch, SSHRDN provided training on digital communication tools, advocacy, and lobbying skills to young human rights defenders speaking up against violations.
SSHRDN in collaboration with Nonviolent Peaceforce and network clusters developed a comprehensive strategic plan document to guide the network's work over the coming years.
Beyond training, SSHRDN provides material support to member organizations including digital security tools, documentation equipment, and resources to strengthen their operational capacity.
